Privacy Policy

• Account details from the sign-in provider you choose (Google or GitHub): your email address, name and the provider’s account id. Sign-in is handled by Amazon Cognito; we never see your password.
• Your designs — the diagrams you save, with their names.
• Credits — your balance and a history of how credits were used (for example “Diagram import −19”).
• Feedback you send — your message and, only if you tick the box, your email address.
• Technical logs — errors and request details our servers record to keep the service working, kept for 30 days.

Guests (no account) send us nothing: their designs stay in their own browser.

When you use “Upload a diagram” or “Describe”, the image or text you submit is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to produce the architecture. We don’t store the image or the description itself; we keep only the resulting design if you save it. Anthropic processes this data under its commercial terms and privacy policy, and states that it does not train its models on API inputs by default. Please don’t include secrets, credentials or personal data in what you submit.

• No advertising, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics on this site.
• We don’t sell or share your data, and we don’t train AI models on it.

Your browser’s local storage holds your sign-in session, your theme and, for guests, their designs.

Account data and designs are stored on Amazon Web Services in the Mumbai region (India). AI requests are processed by Anthropic, which may process them outside India.

Until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your profile, designs and credit history within minutes; encrypted backups roll off within 35 days and logs within 30 days. We keep one anonymous marker — a one-way hash of your email, which can’t be turned back into it — so free credits can’t be claimed again with the same email.

• Access and download: account menu → “Download my data” gives you everything we store about you.
• Correction: edit or delete any design yourself; contact us for anything else.
• Deletion: account menu → “Delete account”.

These follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for visitors from the EU/UK, the GDPR.

Vothlab Design is meant for people aged 18 or over.
